Ahhhh northern Michigan… I love you…for a weekend. In the middle of nowhere you’ll find this log cabin gem of a dive bar. The locals will surely give you some weird looks if you start playing No Use For A Name on the internet jukebox. Their beers are always too small (not pint glasses), their canned sodas are served with an 8 oz glass of ice, and there’s only one arcade machine but gee golly, I come back every time. “Heart stopper” and “hangover cure” are the only ways to describe the juicy, greasy, cheesy, gonna-make-you-feel-like-shit-instantly deliciousness that is a cheeseburger from Talley’s. Get a side of ranch potato wedges and you’re set…to hit the couch immediately after.

GALAGA/MS. PAC-MAN/FROGGER/DONKEY KONG
Pretty much all you need for a gamer of any age, Talley’s features a cocktail style table top 4-in-1 combination Galaga, Ms. Pac-Man, Frogger, Donkey Kong machine. That’s even better than the combination Pizza Hut and Taco Bell… Not much needs to be said about the aforementioned games other than Galaga and Ms. Pac-Man are two of my favorite games ever and Donkey Kong and Frogger are two of the most frustrating games ever (absolute brutality). Perhaps my look-a-like can enlighten you a bit more on Donkey Kong…
